In 2016 after over 130 years break, brewing returned to Cerne Abbas! The brewery is nestled into the Cerne Valley, with view towards the Giants Hill. We won our first CAMRA beer festival (2014) with our Cerne Abbas Ale, and achieved both first and second place at the 2016 CAMRA festival (with the Gurt Rum Cask Coconut, and Gurt Stout respectively). We took a bronze at the SIBA South West Beer Awards in 2016 with our Styrian Wolf. We were really chuffed to win Love Local, Trust Local Dorset Food and Farming Award 2021 for best drink.
