We are a public house in the centre of a village in the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire. The surrounding area is very beautiful, with many walks within minutes of the pub. We are new owners and have a range of facilities and activities, including regular events such as open mic, live music and beer festivals. We are proud to say that we are in the Good Beer Guide for 2025 and 2026, as we sell a range of real ales, all of them locally sourced. Our food is pub grub, but again we make every effort to source local providers and also offer children's meals. We were also the Forest of Dean CAMRA Pub of the Year 2024! We offer a range of drinks, both hot and cold, and are starting afternoon tea. Oat milk is available on request. With 2 log burners to heat the rooms, we are cosy and warm with a very friendly atmosphere. We also have Sky Sports and TNT for the sports fans. We have games including quoits, darts, and crib and are child and dog friendly. Baby changing facilities and high chairs are available. Car park can be busy late afternoon and early evenings
