Looking for a quintessential British pub with all the trimmings? You’ve found it! The Ash boasts a warm welcome, hearty traditional grub, real ales, a cosy open fire (weather permitting), a sunny beer garden, a top-notch wine selection, and some cracking gins.
A local legend for decades, The Ash has history dating back to WWII when it served the US Air Force. Nowadays, it’s a favourite spot for travellers and locals near Stansted Airport alike.
Children are welcome in the restaurant, and we’ve got outdoor play equipment to keep the little ones happy. Please note, children under 14 aren’t allowed in the public bar. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the public bar and outside, but not in the restaurant.
