Yolk Farm is a young, vibrant, high welfare free range hen farm. Selling our fresh eggs in the farm shop and restaurant. We are a new generation of entrepreneurial farmers and our mission is to change the face of farming, reconnecting the public with real food, fresh from the farm. Our farm shop boasts a wide array of delicious local food and drink, specialising in vegetables a our home made range of pastries, pies and brownies. Make sure you grab some fresh croissants or sourdough from our bakery while there still warm. The farm shop is also dog friendly. If you're after a bit of breakfast, brunch or lunch, get yourselves into the very first egg restaurant on a working egg farm and enjoy the classics alongside the more modern adventurous dishes and specials like our famous chicken pancakes, Yum! The coffee is some of the best in the country, supplied locally by Rounton Coffee Roasters. The restaurant is also dog friendly. We are also now offering freshly made pizzas (sit in/take out) on Fridays evenings (until 9pm), not to be missed! The farm has 3 pigs that you can feed as well as goats, chickens, alpacas and a rustic vegetable garden to explore. Let your kids run free on 8 acres of grassland or pop in to the Yard at Yolk for purpose built kids play area and refreshments. Bringing the dog - book into the dog walking field at www.yolkfarm.co.uk to let them run free. Entry is by a combination lock sent via email and requires no contact. We kindly ask all pets are kept on leads in all other areas of the property. Other activities: • local public rights of way around the village of minskip and Roecliffe. • Pleasant local town, cafes, pubs & shopping. (10 -15min walk) • Morrisons superstore a 5min walk including low fuel prices just off the A1 motorway. • Historic landmarks like the Devil's Arrows and Roman village in Aldborough.
