Welcome to the Devonshire Arms; a beautiful, traditional, Derbyshire country inn.
Formerly a coaching inn - and dating back to the 16th century - we are located in the picturesque village of Peak Forest on the Pennine Bridleway, right in the heart of the Peak District.
We are one of only a few properties in this small hamlet which was once known as the "Gretna Green of Derbyshire" - due to having a village church where couples could marry without the reading of the banns: The Church of Charles, King & Martyr.
The pub serves well kept real ale and delicious, freshly cooked, mostly locally sourced, food from Thursday to Sunday.
