THE KINGS ARMS A super 17th‑century pub, a place to drink, dine, and stay with friends and family, The King’s Arms is set in the rural village of Didmarton in the South Cotswolds, on the doorstep of the Badminton Estate and just a short journey from Tetbury and Malmesbury, around 7 miles from Junction 18 of the M4. Ideally located just minutes from Westonbirt Arboretum, it’s perfectly placed for exploring the best of the Cotswolds. Rich in fabulous original features and historic details, the building retains much of its traditional charm throughout, including a wonderful event space, ideal for celebrations, private dining, and special occasions. Being part of the INN THE STICKS Collection, The Kings Arms reflects the group’s passion for characterful country pubs, offering a genuine warm welcome, a cosy bar, relaxed dining rooms, roaring open fires in the cooler months, a sun soaked garden in the summer the perfect spot to pause, meet, or unwind, whether by bike, car, or on foot. For those wishing to stay a little longer, The Kings Arms also offers wonderful bedrooms and charming cottages, providing the perfect base for a relaxing overnight stay or extended countryside break. We offer excellent drinks and seasonal, ever-changing menus in a warm, inviting setting, complemented by great British hospitality and a genuinely friendly team ready to greet you, perfect for catching up, celebrating, or simply enjoying good company. We only have space for 5 smaller motorhomes in our car park. We do not allow caravans due to limited car parking spaces, and we are a super busy pub.
