The Sandboy Public House & Gardens is situated on the edge of Bawsey Country Park, a local beauty spot, comprising hundreds of acres of woodlands and two lakes, just on the outskirts of King’s Lynn, West Norfolk. It is just over a mile from the main coastal route and a few miles from Royal Sandringham, Snettisham, and Hunstanton, which all have wonderful places to visit or continue to. The Sandboy gives secluded parking at the rear of the vehicle park area in a lovely, quiet spot. Directly opposite and covering over 180 acres of lush woodland, pathways, and sparkling lakes, is Bawsey Country Park, which is separately owned but a wonderful place to relax, unwind and enjoy the surroundings. A footpath directly opposite The Sandboy takes you and your K9 (if they are travelling with you) into a real local beauty spot. Bawsey Country Park, has a lovely little café serving hot and cold foods and drinks, with toilet facilities, including disabled access and baby changing facilities.
