Open seasonally from Mid April to Early October. Calling ahead the day of your stay is absolutely essential due to limited space. We are also closed one day a week to allow our staff to rest and this day changes. Please come and enjoy a meal and a drink with us during your stay! Nestled near the iconic Falls of Shin and just across the water from the historic Carbisdale Castle, our location offers a perfect base for exploring the stunning landscapes of the North Highlands and the rugged beauty of Scotland's northwest coast. Whether you’re looking to unwind, embark on outdoor adventures, or discover the region’s rich heritage, you’ll find our spot ideal for all of it, and just a 50 minute drive to Inverness. We offer real ales, a real fire and a fine selection of malt whiskies and Scottish batch gins...enjoy a 'wee dram' in our traditional wee bar after a days exploring. Regular music sessions and gigs take place throughout the summer. In the evening we serve a small menu of good, home cooked meals including scampi with Angus' own recipe tartar sauce and his amazing soups. All our meat and fish is sourced locally, and when possible, we use vegetables from our very own garden. We are happy to cater for all requirements, please inform us when booking if you have any special dietary needs.
