A spacious Hawkinge local, big on character, tradition and top-class ales. Set just back from the coast in Hawkinge, the White Horse Inn is the perfect place to drop anchor for a few hours and enjoy fine ales, food, and welcoming hospitality. Despite the small frontage, this is a spacious pub - with a much-loved cosy area with a log burner beyond the main bar, a separate restaurant room with space for 30-35 people, and a patio area that catches the late afternoon sun. Come aboard and you’ll find the pub every bit as traditional as you’d hope, with exposed brickwork and old wooden beams. A sun-trap beer garden runs to the side of the pub so you can enjoy a refreshing drink outside. Although we can’t guarantee the weather, with ales from Shepherd Neame at the bar, we can certainly promise a perfect pint!
