Welcome To The Fox and Hounds at Shawbury.
Enjoy the relaxed and cosy atmosphere our traditional English Pub affords. With a rustic charm, our spacious layout, traditional décor and open fires all combine to produce an experience to remember.
We offer a selection of mouth watering freshly prepared dishes, all cooked individually to order using fresh locally sourced produce.
The Fox and Hounds reopened its doors on Monday 6th April 2009. It has been on this site since 1966. It was a very popular venue in its day, being one of the first busy gastropubs in the 70's. However it closed doors in 2002.
The Pub then remained closed until 2007 when the dilapidated skeleton was purchased and resurrected to the stylish Pub you see today!
