Welcome to the Wheatsheaf Inn Abbeytown! There is ample parking round the back of the pub along the hedge. We ask that Brit Stops members please park away from the entrance to allow good access into the car park - as the residents who live at the rear of the car park have a right of way over it. You are welcome to stay on the days the pub is closed as well as the days and times that we are open. We also run the village shop down the road - which is well stocked & open from Monday to Saturday, 7am-8pm & Sunday 8am-7pm. You are welcome to enter the pub garden & summer shelter on the days & times we are closed but please leave it how you found it & pick up anything your dog might leave. You can find a number of attractions nearby; our 11th Century Abbey is just a 2 minute walk away, as well as Silloth on Solway, Allonby, Bowness & Port Carlisle, The Lake District & Carlisle Castle. Please note that although we have a good kitchen & restaurant we are currently not serving our own food. However, we do often have catering vans on site & have a no delivery charge deal with a local takeaway Marios Silloth. We look forward to seeing you!
